Lucky 50/50 Raffle Results

Mindy Oberhardt won the Lucky 50/50 Raffle at this year's RRAR Annual Charity Golf Tournament, "Fore the Foundation". Mindy immediately donated her winnings, $552.50, right back to the Foundation, saying "the Foundation does wonderful work and I'm happy to give them back this money to continue serving our local communities." Thanks to Mindy's generosity, the Raffle raised $1,105 toward future community projects.

Diaper Drive a Sweet Success!

We collected over 7,500 diapers and over 8,000 wipes this year thanks to the generosity of our members and the assistance and Walgreen's, 1210 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary, who discounted their diapers and wipes to half off for our drive!

"This is the largest diaper drive any group has ever done for us," said Sharon Hayes of the St. Saviour's Center, Raleigh. "Thank you, REALTORS and Walgreen's! We love you and you have helped so many families."

Last year, the Diaper Train program distributed over 100,000 diapers locally. This year's number represent a 35% increase over last year's drive. Sara Duchon, Diaper Drive Coordinator, says that her team "wants to top 10,000 diapers collected next year"!

REALTORS� Cooling Wake - Now through May 31

Hot summer days are coming and many of our Triangle neighbors will suffer when the temperatures skyrocket.

REALTORS^® Cooling Wake will provide a small window AC unit or fan for the homes of medically fragile seniors and families with young children and limited resources (screened by Wake County Human Services). This project will augment existing programs, which are unable to fulfill all of the requests for this assistance.

The Community Service Committee (CSC) has funds to donate 25 AC units. Each unit is $100. The CSC is asking each real estate office to help us purchase more AC units. CSC volunteers will purchase and deliver the units - all you have to do is pledge!

WIN: How many units can your office pledge? The office pledging the most AC Units wins an Ice Cream Party served by CSC volunteers at your office! Every donation helps, no matter the amount.
